Changelog
Nine public ships from the v0.1.0 private beta (September 2025) to v1.2.0 — the same format we give every customer.
The landing page now has an interactive widget playground — toggle categories, edit markdown, and switch accents while the badge updates live.
Readers can react with 👍 🎉 ❤️ on every public release. Search and tag filters sit on the hosted timeline, a roadmap tab collects feature requests, and email subscribe captures fans who do not want to miss a ship.
Billing: Starter and Pro now offer yearly Stripe prices (~20% off). Lifetime stays $49 once.
#feature #perf
The embed now boots in Shadow DOM. Site styles stay out of the popup; widget styles stay out of the host. Brand color still tints the unread badge and highlights.
Cold-cache boot is faster on repeat visits, and the badge respects sticky headers plus prefers-reduced-motion.
#feature #perf
Fixed unread-count drift on sites with sticky chrome. Contrast on the What’s New chip is now readable on both near-black and washed-out headers.
Public JSON at /api/public/changelog/:slug is cached for 60 seconds with CORS open, which is what the widget and any Slack/CI worker already consume.
#fix #perf
MicroChangelog is out of beta. Public pages live at /c/:slug. Starter, Pro, and Lifetime checkout run through Stripe; the Customer Portal handles plan changes and receipts.
Markdown releases, version tags, and the script-tag widget are the default path from first publish to embed.
#feature #breaking
The dashboard now previews markdown as you type, copies the embed snippet in one click, and lets you set a project brand color before you go public.
Starter history is capped at 120 days; Pro and Lifetime keep the full timeline.
#feature
Beta projects can be marked public. The hosted changelog is a Linear-like timeline: version chip, date, reading time, and filter pills for feature, fix, perf, and breaking changes.
Brand color flows from the project record into the page accent.
#feature
Accounts sign in with email. Each user can create projects with a unique slug. Row Level Security is on from day one: owners write their rows; nobody else can.
This is the data model GA still uses — projects, releases, and a public-read flag.
#feature
A floating badge and a popup of recent titles. Still light DOM, still no brand color, but the “one script tag” install path is here and we started dogfooding it on our own marketing site.
#feature
A tiny editor. Title, optional version, markdown body, publish. No widget, no billing, no public URL. We wanted the writing flow to feel like a commit message before we wrapped a product around it.
